Dekada 70 Full Movie 17 \/\/FREE\\\\
But why should the members of the MMFF jury get a free pass? The film (and it is a movie even if it isnt called one) is exceptionally good. Manilas own Dennis Marasigan directed and co-wrote the screenplay, and it gives us a compassionate and honest portrayal of the city during that period. And the cast includes veteran actors Alvin Yapan, Albert Martinez, and more veterans.

The film was a logistical nightmare to produce. It had a tight shooting schedule (85 shooting days, including a few in the actual Manila Film Center) and a completely willing moviegoing audience (the Film Evaluation Board even gave it a clear 18-year certification). It may not make a whole lot of sense, but Dekada 70 feels like a real film. A remarkable accomplishment.
I believe that. Which is why this full-screen format (bigger than the standard HD) is such a great way to see the film that truly shines. But, Im not so sure that the Philippine National Film Society would like this wholeheartedly.
Ironically, there is no specific release date set for Dekada 70, but Pay says the film will have a spring release, which is the usual annual release window in the Philippines. For now, Pay and the film team are tight-lipped on the plot, but Pay, who plays Amanda, is happy to share a few details.
In April, Pay made her big screen comeback as a character played by Cecile Guidote-Alvarez in The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin 2. If you have a chance to see the movie, do it. Its not only awesome for the film, but it makes Pay just what she has always been, an actress and nothing more.
